SIT Royal Bronze Acoustic Strings - Light Gauge (RL1254) - 12-54 SIT’s Royal Bronze is their premium acoustic string. Phosphor (92/8) bronze cover wrap over a Swedish steel hex core. Exclusive "Fusion Wound" technology utilizes electricity to adhere the bronze cover wrap more tightly to the core. This process eliminates loose spots in the winding (which can cause a dead sound) and increases string life. Good for all applications and ideal for use with pickup or capo. Fusion wound technology uses electricity to fuse the phosphor bronze cover wrap more tightly to the core of the string. This process, which is exclusive to SIT Strings, eliminates loose spots in the winding. These lose spots in the winding can cause a “dead sounding string and shortened lifespan.
